2021 Assessment Notice

Your Assessment Notice was mailed out Friday, April 23, 2021. The Assessment Notice is the official notice of the assessed value of your property as determined by the Saskatchewan Assessment Management Agency (SAMA). If you haven’t received your Assessment Notice by early May, please contact the office and we will reprint one for you.If you find any errors, please contact the office.

Your assessment notice will have the appeal form on the back of the sheet as well as the deadline for appeal. This notice and timeframe is the only opportunity for appealing assessments during the year. SAMA makes every effort to ensure property assessments are done fairly and accurately.

If you disagree with the property value established by SAMA, there is a formal appeal process available to you. Appeals must be based on an error in your property assessment and not based on the amount of taxes paid for the property.  Property reports may be viewed on the SAMA website www.sama.sk.ca. The Assessment Roll is open during regular business hours until 4:00pm on June 30, 2021. Anyone wishing to appeal their assessment must submit the proper assessment appeal form and fee prior to the close of the roll on June 30, 2021.

All properties in Saskatchewan are revaluated by SAMA based on a fouryear cycle. 2021 is a revaluation year. For more information on assessment, please see the link above or contact SAMA at 18006675203.
