The Ministry of Environment, Saskatoon Compliance Area would like to share the included Guidelines for Open Burning and Structure Disposal with the RM’s rate payers.
Every year Conservation Officers respond to reports of unlawful burning in yards, fields and pastures. Various materials such as grain bags, bale twine, plastic wrap, painted buildings and household garbage have been found burning. None of these are allowed to be burned as outlined in The Environmental Management Protection Act, 2010.
