The Rural Municipality of Blaine Lake #434 (“the RM”) is requesting proposals for the supply, transport, and delivery of diesel fuel to the RM Public Works Shop, which is located on the West side of the Hwy 12 & Hwy 40 intersection, at the South end of the Town of Blaine Lake.On average, the RM utilizes approximately 55,000 L of diesel during the calendar year; the RM would require winter diesel in the colder months.
Proposals must include:
- The process utilized to ensure that the RM diesel tank always maintains a sufficient supply of fuel (for example, does a call need to be placed when fuel is required, or, would the driver automatically stop to fill the tank on a weekly basis?)
- A sample copy of a fuel ticket
- WCB Letter of Good Standing
- A copy of appropriate liability insurance
- A copy or list of the company policies and procedures which indicate employee certification requirements such as:
- WHMIS
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods
- Any other safety precautions that ensure compliance with The Environmental Management and Protection Act, 2010 and The Environmental Spill Control Regulations
